Meet EFAC’s Founders
The building blocks for EFAC PAC were originally laid back in 2004. Lisa, Julie, Stephen and Emily are siblings from Braintree, MA. Inspired and led by their mom, Regina, they began an informal group in their town that coordinated songs and routines to be performed at private functions, nursing homes and independent living facilities.
The family began teaching Performing Arts Classes in 2008, which originally provided an opportunity for even more people to learn songs and routines which were performed at standard “EFAC Shows”, along with additional performing arts skills.
Over the past decade, and independent of these classes, Lisa and her husband Geoff Herrmann have created and fostered several environments for the education and performance of the arts, both through their church as well as in their own independent endeavors. This spans in scope from the creation and coordination of Youth Worship Choirs, the Direction and Choreography of musical theater productions, the conducting of concerts, the creation and coordination of youth holiday performances, and the teaching of group music classes as well as private dance, voice and piano lessons.
Now, nearly two decades since EFAC Performing Arts Classes originally began, Engaging Faith with Arts Center for Performing Arts Classes, or “EFAC PAC”, strives to continue to grow the skills and confidence of performers in a fun and dynamic way, providing vibrant, dynamic and engaging instruction in the arts through a unique blend of class offerings and a joyful inclusion of faith elements, with Christ at the center.
From our original EFAC Performers:
“Whilst performing I was completely struck by the response we received from the residents – they were so enthusiastic, full of life and eager to join in on some of the more well-known songs. It was such a great feeling to know that we had helped bring about some of that joy.”
“Overall, my experience with EFAC is one of joy and learning; I have so many wonderful memories, and a newfound knowledge of singing!”
